A Tree of Many Tales,
Book Creation! 

This book is the brain child of Amanda Edwards. Amanda is a professional stained glass mosaic artist with almost 20 years of public art experience, making large mosaic murals for children's hospitals, school, and private collections. Her public art has always had a nature focus, and they all tell a story. So, story telling isn't a large leap for her, since she's already been telling stories through art for many years now. This story began on a visit to Abbotsford, the home of Sir Walter Scott, in Melrose Scotland. This is the location of yearly art retreats that Amanda hosts. Please click here to read about the amazing gardens and trees of the Abbotsford Estate. The estate is run by the Scotland National Trust, and is beloved by people from all over the world. Its open to the public year round, and a favorite spot for walkers and their dogs, for children and the young at heart, for gardeners, artists, historians, book lovers, adventurers, and of course for fans of Sir Walter Scott. 

This page will highlight both big and small moments in the creation of this book. I can not wait to share all the plans that are falling into place for this passion project!

September 2026:  All glass illustrators  are  waiting for their designs to get delivered! From the US, to Germany, to the Netherlands, to Switzerland, glass work will begin in early November!
